Next, Dickie introduced Tom with Marge Sherwood, his friend, who lived near of him, in the same beach in Naples.
Some days after Tom arrived to Naples, he realized that Dickies loved paint and sailing. Tom told Dickie, that he had been sent to Naples to convince him returned to home with his parents, but Dickie said to Tom, however, he never would return home. After this conversation, Dickie helped Tom to find a hotel in Naples.

 CHAPTER 3.

Tom and Dickie started a friendship; hence, Margie felt jealousies, because in that moment, Dickie spent more time with Tom than with her.  Also, Margie thought Tom was in loved of Tom, which was false, because Tom only wanted have a life like the great Dickie´s life, fill of money wealth.  Tom and Margie didn´t get along, because of that, when Dickie and Tom planed a travel to Roma they didn´t invite her. Now, they were ready for their trip to Roma.

Before his trip, Tom received a letter from Mr. Greenleaf, which said, that he (Mr. Greenleaf) didn´t need more of Tom´s service, because until that moment was obvious that Tom couldn´t persuade Dickie to return home.  After that, Tom felt loss, because he didn´t want leave his new life in Europe, and for achieve his purpose, Tom planned a macabre plan for the trip, which consisted in kill to Dickie and usurp his life and identity for steal his money. And that way, he did; kill to Dickie in the boat which they traveled, Tom sank that boat, and leav me the Dickie´s corpse in the middle of the sea.
He returned to Naples, for some possessions of Dickie-like clothes-. Obviously, Marge  asked him about Dickie, but Tom had prepared  a story for who question him about Dickie, then, he answered to Margie: Tom is in Roma, he asked me for come here to Naples and bring him some clothes, because he is very busy in his new home in Roma.  He going to spend all winter in Roma; said Tom to Marge, because that reason Margie was very sad, because they had planned do together a lot of activities for the winter.

CHAPTER 5.

Tom traveled to Roma and usurped the Dickie´s identity. There, he lived like if he was Dickie, he spent the Dickie´s checks, and he bought an apartment in Roma, in that moment, he had his dream life, but one day, his planes changed.  A friend of Dickie, Freddie, arrived to Tom´s apartment (supposedly Tom was Dickie) asked for Dickie. He was afraid because the police knew that Freddy had been killed, and the police officers told him that he couldn´t travel to Silicy, because might need him after to ask him some questions more.
After of the police´s visit, Tom go out to drink something, and advised that there was so much papers with the news: American murdered on the via Appia Antica; he read all papers and in the final paper he saw another news: the police had found a sunken boat with bloodstains near to San Remo, that boat was in which he had killed to Dickie. Tom was very afraid.
Some days after, police officers, visited again to Tom (Dickie), asking him, if he knows to Tom Ripley, and he said “Yes”.  In that moment Dickie (Tom) was suspect of murder.
Finally, the officer allow to him, travel to Silicy, but he should give they the name of the hotel where he was going to be.

CHAPTER 7.

Tom wanted leave Roma immediately, but when he was leaving his home in Roma, Margie visited him and asked him by Dickie, Tom gave her mistaken information about where was Dickie.  While Margie tried find to Dickie, based in the mistaken information that Tom gave her, Tom traveled to Silicy and Greece and there he lived like Dickie, but he realized that he was lonely. Until that moment, Tom was traveled a lot of places, using the money and checks of Dickie, and forging his signature, and one day Tom (Dickie) received a letter from the Dickie´s bank; because they realized that the last signatures of Dickie were false.
Tom, replied that letters and said at bank that all was ok, and he had all his money and never had suffered a robbery.

CHAPTER 8.

Tom (Dickie) received a letter from Police Station, said him that he should went to Roma for answer some questions about the Miles case, in that moment, Tom decided be again Tom Ripley; because of that, he becoming Thomas Ripley again. Tom traveled to a town called Trento, he traveled identified always with his own name: Tom Ripley.
One night he had a dinner in a restaurant, and he read a newspaper and saw that the police was searching for Dickie and also they were searching for Tom Replay, because they thought that Tom Ripley was missing. Tom Ripley look for the police in Trento, and introduce himself like Tom Ripley, then, the Trento´s police called to Rome´s police and told them that Tom Ripley was in Trento. The police of Roma visited to Tom in Trento and asked him about details of Dickie and Miles. Tom felt free, because he felt in that moment, that he was not guilty of the two murders that he had performance, because in that moment he was Tom Ripley.  Finally, Tom was offered to help them to find some clue of the whereabouts of Dickie.
One day, Tom had an idea: write a letter from Dickie to Tom (signed by Dickie), saying that he leaved his money and his income to Tom.

CHAPTER 9.

Margie visited to Tom in his house, in Trento, they spoke a lot about Dickie, and Tom realized that his relationship with Margie was better than before, when he lived in Naples.  She told him that Mr, Greenleaf was in Rome, waiting for some information about the whereabouts of his son, and also, she told him, that Mr. Greenleaf  hired a private investigator for find his son Dickie.  Then, Tom decided call to Mr Greenleaf y offer him to find his son.

CHAPTER 10.

Mr. Greenleaf arrived to Trento to visit to Tom. He and Margie, looking for Mr. Greenleaf in the train station, after, they had a dinner, and Mr. Greenleaf told to Tom, that he had paid for an Americans detectives, because the police in Roma haven´t did nothing for find to Dick.

CHAPTER 11.

Tom was questioned by a detective called McCarron (the American detective), who asked him about Dickie and about the Dickie´s behavior in the last days that they had been together. Tom told him that Dickie had committed suicide, which was a lie.

CHAPTER 12.

After some days, Tom called to Mr. Greenleaf, and told him, that he had found a letter to Dickie from he (Mr. Greenleaf), immediately, Tom set a copy to Mr Greenleaf, and that letter was the letter that Tom had wrote some months ago, like if he was Dickie, and in this letter he wrote that Dickie leave his money and his incomes to Tom.

Mr. Greenleaf sent that letter to his lawyers, finally Tom received all money and possessions of Dickie.
 MY POINT OF VIEW.
For my, the final of this story is unfair, because a person that had lay and had killed for achieve his objectives don´t deserve a happy end and a happy life. Because of that, I suggest the following end:

…but when Tom Ripley received all money and possesions of Dickie, met a beautiful woman, who finally stole all his money.  After of that, Tom Ripley had to return to Boston, whit his Aunt and with his miserable life.  Also, some days after Tom was arrived to Boston, the police found him and he had to pay 20 year in jail.

Essay Course 10

BRAINSTORMING:

Religious beliefs and life´s hope, freedom religious and laws, how the decisions of parents affect their children.

Chosen Idea: Religious beliefs and life´s hope.

I chose this idea, because I think some religious beliefs, disagree with the topic of human integrity, life´s quality and preservation or protection of the life. Because of this situation, could lose inocent lives, for example, parents involves in their beliefs and ignore all ways and options that they have to improve the quality of live or save the life of their children.

EXPLANATION MAIN IDEA:

Often, the topics of health and beliefs are disagree. One reason is because in the religious level, the trend is leave all things and all decisions in God´s hand, but in the medical level the main objective is to save the life above all things, but some religious groups forget, that they must do their human part (like go to the doctor and ask for help), and God does the divine part (for example, a miracle).  Because of that, sometimes loss the life of many people, and if they leave their beliefs only for a moment, would save many lives.

For example, the members of the religion “Jehovah´s witnesses” don’t receive blood of other person because according to a verse in the old testament of their bible, Jesus said that can´t receive blood of another soul, and neither can´t eat any food cooked whit animal´s blood. Similarly with other religions, for example some people is disagree with organ donation because they believe in the flesh resurrection and with that, all our organs must to resuscitate, as well for that, many people decrease the probability to save or help other lives.

I think this people ought to, stop and think a little about their ideas, and to realize if their thinking was another, and if they leave a little of their beliefs, might to save many lives.

Is for the previous reasons, that some religious beliefs can  decrease life´s hope in some people, as may be, in the life of their children or their relatives, because reject any medical treatment that could save their lives or,  just do the doctor´s job more difficult.

Javier Sábata, is a Spanish philosopher, enter at debate between religion and health, stating than the religion (beliefs, faith) and the reason (science) are opposites, and for he, religion, beliefs and faith are property of the private space of each person, but the people insist in interfere with this beliefs in the public space (Sábata, 2009).  This affirmation is true in some situations, for example, when the parents interfered with their beliefs in the doctor´s job.

Finally, I think that this debate between religion beliefs and health will be open for a long time and will be difficult to research some agreement between both topics.

MEMORIES OF MY CHILDHOOD

When I was a child, I used to play with my older brother running throughout on the hall of our house, and in the end of the hall, there was the principal door, and this, had a glass in this center. One day, we were do a competition, then, I was running very fast and I couldn´t stop on time, so I had to stop with my hands on the door and I broke the glass with my hands; but the problem was when I saw my wrist, because in this there was a piece of glass and my hand was hanging.

Immediately, my brother went to the room of my parents, because here we used to have a box with medicines- like the box of “first aid”-, but my cut was very seriously for be healed with those medicines.  At the same time, my parents were next to our house, because they were managers of a clothes’ store and they used to meeting with their employees there, then, when my parents hear the noise of the broken glasses, went to our house and when they saw my cut were very worried; immediately took me at hospital, and there, my father fainted because my cut shed a lot of blood.

INTEGRATION OF HANDICAPPED PERSON INTO THE SOCIETY

The social integration of handicapped persons depends of where they live; why? Because the more development the country, the person will have more possibilities to integrate into the society. The following comparative can clear that idea:

If we see an industrialized country, like EE.UU, Italy or Germany, we can see the cities have been built without obstacles in their streets because there are ramps for persons in wheel chairs, sonorous traffic lights for blind persons, signposting for deaf persons, busses adapted for persons with some physical limitation.  Apart from that, the laws have planned for handicapped persons  and give more benefits at this persons than persons without some disability. And finally, an important aspect is, in developed societies (in industrialized countries) the people coexist  with another people no matter your ability or disability.

But if we see an underdeveloped country like Colombia, Peru o some country in Latin America, we can see the cities have not been built for persons with some physical disability, because the architecture and the structure of this cities have not planned for all people. In these countries, we can see a person in a wheel chair in a middle of the street between cars and trucks risking their life, because the sidewalk has not designed for a handicapped person, that situation because the sidewalk has not built for all people no matter their physical abilities or disabilities.  Similarly, the transport system have not designed to transport persons with some physical disability- for example, in Colombia is impossible that some people in wheel chair take a bus, because the wheel chair won´t go through the door- therefore, for handicapped persons, sometimes is difficult leave their homes; also, in this countries, the laws give little benefits to handicapped person.

In some underdeveloped countries, like Colombia, some natives tribes, the child with some handicap or disability are abandoned by their parents, because they (the parents), believe that the handicap or disability is like a punishment of some god.

The previous comparative allow us suppose, if a handicapped person life in an industrialized country is easier be incorporated into the society than a handicapped person that life in an underdeveloped country, because the architecture, transport systems, structure and especially the culture of industrialized countries make possible that integration and have been planed for all the people, ability or disability.  For example: In Europe, a person in wheel chair, leaves home and immediately takes a bus adapted with a ramp, after, arrives at its destination and can moves easily on the sidewalk . But this routine doesn´t possible for a handicapped person in an underdeveloped country, because the architecture, the transportation systems and the culture is this countries aren´t ready to interact and coexist with a “different” person, and this countries the handicapped persons in many cases are reject and excluded because their disability.

CONCLUSION
In industrialized countries is easier to incorporate into the society the handicapped persons than in underdeveloped countries, because the culture and the society in industrialized countries have an open mind to coexist and accept to people no matter their abilities or disabilities.
